Ercie F. Yeater, 67, 1215 W. 11th St., died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

She was born in Nashville, Tenn., to the late William W. and Annie Lee (Haddock) Story. She married John P. Yeater on June 4, 1954. He survives.

Mrs. Yeater was a homemaker and a 22-year member of the Calico Sets Square Dance Club, serving as president for 11 years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, bird watching, cooking and reading. She was a member of Roseburg Church of God.

Additional survivors include sons, Curtis (Debbie), Fairmount, Rodney, Marion, and Jeffery "Butch" (Tracy), Gas City; a daughter, Robin Wilson, Marion; grandchildren, Danny and Neal, both of Fairmount, Jason Wilson, Lapel, Jennifer Wilson, Muncie, Jordan Teague, Jericca, Jarynd and Jucoen, all of Summitville, Morgan and Evan, Gas City; and great-grandchildren, Hunter and Chase Wilson, Renee Madley and Jacob.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Willis H. Story.

Services are at 10 a.m. Monday in Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, with Pastor Paul Tomlinson officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park cemetery.
